Oriskany Silicified Sandstone is associated with the Oriskany Sandstone Formation of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and New Jersey.  Primary exposures occur on the hill at the Falls of Oriskany and throughout the Appalachian Basin.
